This year, Sailor Studio had the opportunity to produce the videocase for the campaign created by Ogilvy Brasil for BMW in partnership with Alexa, entitled "Immersive Spatial Audio". This innovative campaign allowed consumers to take a virtual test drive using voice commands via Alexa on Echo devices or through the Alexa app. The campaign featured binaural audio and detailed responses about the car, providing a personalized and interactive experience for consumers. The campaign was featured in some awards including a shortlist at Cannes Lions 2023.

The animations were meticulously crafted based on binaural and three-dimensional audio to ensure the highest degree of immersion for viewers. When experienced with headphones, the result is truly astonishing, as the audio complements the visuals seamlessly, creating an immersive environment.

In a deliberate departure from the norm, this project embraced animations with 12 frames per second. This decision was made to enhance the overall experience and create a unique visual style that perfectly complemented the cutting-edge sonic landscape.

Given that the campaign was built around an avant-garde audio experience, we focused on creating animations that reinforced the sonic message without compromising the clarity of the video. The fluidity and curves of the animations were carefully designed to maintain a captivating rhythm, perfectly synchronized with the sound design and voiceover.

By paying meticulous attention to every detail, from the frame rate to the fluidity of the animations, we aimed to create a cohesive and immersive visual journey that seamlessly blended with the groundbreaking sound design. The combination of these elements ensured that the audience not only heard but also visually experienced the essence of the campaign.
